  • Staircases
  • Retaining walls
  • Water storage reservoirs

Produce technical layout drawings and details.

Produce reinforcement layout drawings and details including the production of
steel reinforcement bending schedules.

Brick Masonry
Structural analysis and design of various brick masonry elements and may
include the following:

  • Load Bearing Brickwork
  • Strip Foundations
  • Brick Masonry Retaining Walls

Produce technical layout drawings and details.

Timber

Structural analysis and design of various timber elements and may include the following:

  • SA Pine Roof Trusses
  • Laminate Timber Roof Beams
  • Timber Floors including Outside Decks

Produce technical layout drawings and details.

Civil Engineering Works

Design and detail various civil items of a project. These may include the
following:

  • Sewer system
  • Water supply system
  • Stormwater management system
Engineering & Occupancy Certificates

Inspect and issue engineering and occupancy certificates for various permanent and temporary structures and may include the following:

  • Existing Dwellings
  • Marquee Tents
  • Steel Framed Tents
  • Canvas Tents
  • Temporary Stands
Project Management
Attend progress and technical meetings

Perform site inspections

Report writing

Produce structural engineering certificates

Pr Techni Eng; AMIEAust; ND: Civ Eng (UNISA); MSAICE.

Barry-Jo received his National Diploma in Civil Engineering (ND: Civ Eng) from the
University of South Africa (UNISA) and has gained extensive experience (15 years)
as a Structural Technician working in a consulting engineering design office.

He is professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
as a Professional Engineering Technician (Pr Techni Eng) and as a member of
Engineers Australia (AMIEAust).

He is also registered as a corporate member of The South African Institution of Civil
Engineering (SAICE) and as a competent engineer with the National Home Builders
Registration Council (NHBRC).

His experience includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Structural Analysis
  • Structural Design
  • Draughting and Detailing
  • Inspections Prior, During and Post Construction Phase
  • Technical Report Writing
  • Project Management

Neil Brüssow

Neil holds a B Tech (Cum Laude) degree in project management from the Nelson
Mandela University (NMU).

He worked at a consultancy design office for 9 years before joining TSG Consulting.

Neil currently serves as a technologist and specializes in analysis, design and
detailing of projects.

Rob Prinsloo

PROJECT MANAGER

Rob is a young and dynamic individual who has extensive site experience on civil &
structural engineering projects.

He had previous experience for a civil contractor before joining TSG Consulting.

Rob currently serves as a project manager and manages the on-site expansions at
Wild Coast Abalone.
